Keeping Records for Transcripts
Here is how we suggest you keep records for transcripting.
1. Prepare a large (10" x 13") envelope for each class taken. 2. Put the name and the date of the class on an upper edge if stored in a filing cabinet or box, or on an end if stored on a bookshelf. 3. Put all homework in the envelope after it is recorded by your instructor. 4. Place all tests or projects on top of the homework. 5. Put grade reports issued by ZLO instructors on top of that, and place all of this in the envelope. 6. Throw NOTHING away until the student has completed at least 1 year of college, or has worked for several years and is still not planning to attend college. Make a transcript of your high school work before discarding it.
If an official ZLO transcript is necessary for auto insurance, job or college application, ZLO can provide a file on which a list of courses taken from ZLO may be printed along with a calculated GPA. The student must provide official ZLO grade reports to complete this. The fee for this service is $35, payable to the preparer. If the information does not change we can provide additional copies for a postage-and-handling fee.
If a student later begins work at a state-approved school, please do not have the school request records from ZLO. We simply do not have them. Parents can provide an informal report of coursework taken from their own records. | ||
