GUIDELINES AND JUDGING CRITERIA

Guidelines:

• Choose a non-original, published children’s story.
• You will use the book (faced towards the audience) and turn the pages as you read/tell the story. You can tape notes to the cover of the book facing you.
• Use expression and various character voices to make your story come alive.
• Length of time is 3-6 minutes. It is very important not to go over the 6-minute maximum limit.
