Sarah Ludeman Years or the last year attended ZLO:6th - 10th grade, 1998-2002. Education since ZLO: 2 years at WCC graduating in 2005 with my AA degree. Highlights of things you've done since ZLO: Being Executive Vice President for student government at Whatcom my senior year. Continuing the friendships that began at ZLO and meeting regularly with them for Bible study and worship. Doing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With a Mission (YWAM): 3 months of training and lectures in Australia and 3 months of outreach phase in Cairo, Egypt! What influence, if any, ZLO has had for you? ZLO was a place where I made lasting friendships! Those relationships have deeply influenced my life and have been encouraging and challenging. The environment at ZLO was an amazing place for me to be for some crucial growing up years. It blessed me so much! Favorite memory of ZLO: Discovering equations that made cool graphics on our TI-83's with Molly Crocker in Geometry. World History with Nancy Taylor was always engaging and fun. Dissecting pigs with Ron Wolverton made my stomach turn but was really interesting. My very first class ever at ZLO was Astronomy with Toria Bash and I loved doing my planet report for her on Saturn. Drama with Dr. Kester was a riot! And Washington State History with Scot Becker I will never forget! Lunch times were a party every Tuesday and Thursday! The picture is of me and two Muslim friends in Cairo. | ||
