Sara Andaluz Years or the last year attended ZLO: Spring '99 - Spring '03 Education since ZLO: A.A.S. Transfer degree, WCC. 1 yr and counting @ Wheaton College, Wheaton, IL. I'm studying for majors in Psych and Spanish. I want to be a prayer counselor, and this coming year I will be managing Wheaton's Writing Center, tutoring refugees, and continuing with Unidad Cristiana as a cabinet member. I have lots of travel plans, of course :) Highlights of things you've done since ZLO: I've studied in Mexico through WCC, and learned how to teach some at Wheaton--it's sooo cool to help people learn new things! I've become part of a cultural gorup on campus, and we spearheaded Wheaton's first ever Salsa dance! But that's just a small part of it, because we're working to help people understand diverse perspectives on life and faith and worship within the Christian context. In that respect, all my ZLO classes were amazing at making me step out of my own shoes and consider new possibilities and explanations for all the world's goings-on. What influence, if any, ZLO has had for you? ZA has truly rigorous and introspective courses, so I really value that preparation for my post secondary ed. Favorite ZLO memory: Some of my favorite memories have to be Toria's tangents, Mrs. Taylor saying, "Are you trackin' with me?" Mrs. Miller saying with the tenderest smile, "Bless your heart," and discussing what formulas God used to create the world with Molly. Love you all! | ||
